Slip, Trip and Fall Hazards in Burial Grounds

Caring for God’s Acre (CfGA) in partnership with Ecclesiastical Insurance Group (EIG) has produced a Guidance Note for the Health and Safety hazards in Burial grounds of slips, trips and falls.

  The conservation charity Caring for God’s Acre (CfGA) is working with the film company Wild Edric Media to make a documentary style film about the beauty and interest that exists in our church and chapel yards, cemeteries and burial grounds. The filming project is funded by The Heritage Lottery as part of CfGA’s National Project.



New Churchyard and Burial Ground Education Pack available in English and Welsh for teachers and youth leaders

Caring for God’s Acre has launched its new Education pack to support the exploration of burial grounds of all kinds such as old churchyards, Victorian cemeteries, cemeteries of different faiths, chapel yards and more recent burial grounds.


One Hundred Years of Memories

With the forthcoming anniversary of the commencement of World War 1, the Churchyard Task Team is helping support churches and their communities with their various plans for marking this significant event.
