Will include going over the conservation area, with some coppicing, hedge cutting, creation of habitat piles and removal of some weed from the ponds.
The main part of this session will be to repair and replace the compost bins that are made of wooden pallets and will need replacing. Also we'll look at any saplings/ ivy to remove.
Various seasonal tasks including raking grass, cutting saplings and species id etc
The task will be to trim back one of the big rhododendrons that encroach on the meadow.
A task day to trim hedges, create habitat piles, remove ivy and saplings.
