About This Chapel yard

Maesyrhelem Chapel has a small and beautiful burial ground.

The burial ground is 0.3 hectares, well managed and open for burials. The immediate habitat surrounding the site is woods, open fields and one minor road.

The grassland survey found some lovely species such as quaking grass, crosswort, heath bedstraw, devil’s-bit scabious and betony.

The nearest toilet is Crossgates Service Station, Llandrindod Wells and they are accessible for people using wheelchairs. There are also baby changing facilities here. There is seating in the burial ground with back and arm rests.

There is parking for around one or two cars outside the chapel.

The Chapel is not accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Llandrindod Wells.
