There are a few ways to be involved as a volunteer.

Surveying

The Beautiful Burial Ground project supports interest groups, communities and individuals to learn about, research and survey the wildlife and built heritage of their local burial grounds. There are lots of ways to become involved. Visit here for more information.

Practical conservation work

If you like the idea of working with a lively group of people, in some of the most beautiful sites in Shropshire, then you may be interested in joining our Churchyard Task Team.

Task days take place every Tuesday and Thursday (sometimes other days). For more information, and to view the current programme, visit here.

Spreading the Word

We receive many requests to talk to small groups all over the country. However, due to distance, we are often unable to accept. If you are interested in giving a talk in your area, to help spread the word about burial ground conservation, we would love to hear from you!
We have a pre-prepared presentation with notes, along with useful literature that we can send you.
