Description
The Words and Wild Places project was part of the Sacred Spaces project, undertaken by Caring for God’s Acre some years ago. The project worked with twelve communities in the Shropshire Hills to inspire and engage people in the special spaces – natural, historical and spiritual – to help develop a sense of place and a deeper connection with the landscape in which they live.
Workshops were held where participants went for a walk and wrote about their experience of the landscape and how it was meaningful to them. These writings were gathered into a booklet and are now for sale here.
